I've never been close to getting married, so let's not get ahead of ourselves. . . This is just a short post on a craft project that I completed while procrastinating before a big national exam. I missed the ENTIRE summer studying for the exam, so you can't blame me for dragging out some photos from summer in the middle of winter.
Introducing . . . . . . . the "oui" ring!
I saw this ring on one fashion blog or another and was inspired to make my own. Here are a few examples from etsy.
I don't have a step-by-step for this one, but I used some simple jewelry-making pliers, some silver-plated wire--a fairly heavy gauge (don't have the gauge, sorry), and one big bead for the "i." Yay!
Photos were made down by the harbor: there are a few flat stones you can sit on that are hidden from the sidewalk. I brought my iPad down to "study." It was such a beautiful day. And besides, I passed my exam--so a little procrastination did no harm ;)
